| When
you're cruising through cyberspace
and you want to return to the page you just visited,
the back button can help. It's usually located near
your address bar and takes you to the page you were
viewing before the current one.
One of the
buttons at the top of a Web browser. By clicking on
it, you "go back" to the previous Web
page. Sometimes, this feature does not work in
frames, but besides that, it's one of the greatest
inventions since e-mail.
On your
browser you may go back to previous pages that you
have visited. Each time you click the
"back" button you will go back one page in
your progression. Similarly you may press the
forward button to go forward to pages that you have
just viewed.
